Very 1st bookmark: ready!

Hi, all!
I've just finished my 1st cross stitched bookmark for "Mille Colori per l'Emilia". Yay, I am happy!

Of course I've taken a few pictures.
(A few...?!? Come on! It's the 1st one, like a baby! Be patient... )

I've used:
- the best thread for cross stitch I've ever used - Aurifloss # 2425 - for the pink puppy's tongue; the next bookmarks will be 100% made with Aurifil threads, of course!

- DMC threads (I know I shouldn't say but - to be honest, who cares? - I had a huge amount of DMC thread aside and my philosophy is "no waste". In addition, I've begun stitching this bookmark before I knew that Roberta launched a 2nd edition of her project)

- a golden metallic thread to give to the bookmark a "chic effect", around the 1st paw print (on the right of this pic).

This is the back of the bookmark, instead! Not so bad, right?
I love to show stitches, so I won't hide 'em!

First steps...

Stitching the border of the paw prints...

... Dog's muzzle... work in progress!

... Going on ...
... And on ...

And...
... I'm already working on the next one! Can you guess what THEY will be?

Xoxo,
ELLY
